Educational Moment:
I sat 6th row, center this week at the Mike Ferry Superstar Retreat in Las Vegas.
There are about 3,000 people standing behind me at the time took this photo.
This workbook got filled with about 35 pages of handwritten notes.
This is a photo of the front 300 or so people i was sitting with. The room was almost a football field long.
The Mike Ferry Organization is a company founded in 1975 to coach and train Real Estate agents to be more productive, profitable, and helpful to their clients. I have been doing a weekly coaching call with one of his coaches since March of 2019 and its helped me help more than 130 families get moved in the last 3 years.
Mike is 77 years old. He has almost as much money as God, and does not need to keep doing this.
But he is on a mission to help people and make a difference...and I couldn't be more grateful personally that he stuck with it as I've re-entered the business this last 4 years. I think he will be going strong for another 8-10 years and while he is doing these events I will be attending them.
Throughout the week, Mike one on one interviewed more than 20 top producers about the specific things they do to run a world class customer service business and he had the CEOs of 2 of the largest real estate companies in the world out for a discussion on the direction of the market, the state of real estate "tech" companies like opendoor and offerpad, and what we need to do as top producing agents to help our clients win.
If you're in a professional field, you need to always be developing and working on yourself. You may not even realize it but you need a coach. Professionals have coaches....amateurs have egos that prevent coaching.
Grateful for the philosophies Mike teaches and helping his clients treat this independent contractor job like a true business, while remembering to always work to keep it fun to avoid burnout.
I am so looking forward to flying home and seeing my family, and then getting back to helping people accomplish their real estate goals.
