Hey Everyone! Over the last couple of weeks you have likely received your new property tax valuation. In some cases it may be as much as 4% higher the last year. You generally want to see your assessment at a price that looks like it is 5-15% below what you could ACTUALLY sell for on the open market. Quite a few of you have reached out me with questions about whether or not your assessment this year was fair, especially in light of the situation we're all currently facing. In some of the cases I've researched, the assessors seem to have gotten it right, but in several cases, the assessment was as much as $50,000 too high!
